The Final Homecoming at Cardinal Dougherty

It was once the largest Catholic High School in the world.
Now it has the lowest attendance of Catholic High Schools in Philadelphia.

Joanne looking out of those impressive windows.
Joanne, Me & Pat after Mass in the auditorium.
Me & Sister Walter Anice (aka Gerry Kent)my favorite Nun in the world!

With faith that's strong, with courage bold,
we raise our colors high!
Unfurl our banner to the world,
our cross against the sky!
For in this sign we conquer all, for God
& school & land
with the Trinity
& Mary's love to guide our youthful hand.
Alma Mater garnet & royal gold
sons & daughters salute you with pride
pledging hearts to you in loyalty
we'll share your glory far & wide
with wisdom & truth you nourish us
with love our souls your fortify
so dear Alma Mater your sons & daughters hail...
Nothing but great memories. Thanks Mom & Dad for making the sacrifice and sending me to CD!

As time goes by so do the places and things from our youth. Glad you got to go back before the end...

So sad to see the important things in our lives change. Especially when we love all the history and personal love that has gone into making it special.
